Impressed yet? Me either… so, here’s the real stuff that matters:

I have lived most of my life trying to get what I can get. That got me through a few doors but it never got me what I needed most – peace. We all search for peace in our own way. We all search for meaning even in the midst of suffering and pain. I can’t say I have all the answers but I can say that the journey I’ve taken has shown me the greatest way to peace is through the outward expression of love.

My example of this love is Jesus Christ. Not ashamed of that. Not here to proselytize but just to say there is an example of love and acceptance that we should all follow. Jesus never turned anyone away. He never condemned anyone (except those in the religious circles). And, his purpose was to share love, justice and charity. This is the example that I live by. This is the message that I carry. I’ve never once been perfect. Never will be. Never have to be. But, I do want to stand up for those who cannot stand for themselves and love those who others dismiss. – T.
